Doc Cheatham & Sammy Price - Duets & Solos

Two masters in a relaxed set of jazz standards that show off their strengths. Sammy Price is a fantastic jazz/blues/boogie piano player and Doc Cheatham's tasty trumpet floats along on top of Price's rhythm. When I saw the song list I was hoping for more boogie tunes but after listening to the results I would be happy with anything they decided to play. Even my twenty something year old daughter asked me who was playing. They music just put a smile on my face and I'm sure it will do the same for you. Two cd's of great jazz. They don't make 'em like these two anymore.
