Coney Hatch - Fallen Angel...Live Quebec '83

Coney Hatch's arrival on the Canadian rock scene in 1980 announced a positive reception in an otherwise, somewhat dulled music scene that had little else to offer aside from sporadic re-appearances of Bachman Turner Overdrive, April Wine and other such past Canadian glories. Ontario's newest musical exports were about to breathe new life into the scene with their self-titled debut and follow-up Outa Hand, both of which produced a handful of hit singles. Their appearance in Québec in 1983 opening for Iron Maiden on their 'World Piece' tour gave the band further exposure and thus valuable space in which to find new fans.

Coney Hatch provide a valuable chunk of Canada's often overlooked 1980s music scene as their phenomenal performance here shows. Their live appearances rival that of music legends April Wine, Rush and The Guess Who at their peak and any opportunity to hear them perform live shouldn't be missed.
